【Product Overview】
The RackMount 16CH™ is a high-performance 16-channel potentiostat/galvanostat/impedance analyzer specifically designed for high-throughput electrochemical research. The system is built upon the industry-acclaimed EmStat4 LR hardware platform and can be integrated into a standard 19-inch industrial rack-mount enclosure (optional).
Equipped with an advanced Lablink embedded controller, each channel features a fully independent microprocessor and dedicated circuitry (including individual WE, RE, CE, and Ground). This allows all 16 channels to perform completely different experimental methods simultaneously or asynchronously without interference, significantly increasing measurement efficiency while eliminating time lags and experimental errors typically associated with cross-batch testing.

Key Operational Features
Powered by Lablink — Autonomous Offline Operation
Once initialized, the integrated Lablink controller takes full command of the experiments, eliminating the need for a constant connection to a host computer. Experiments continue uninterrupted even in the event of network failure or unexpected control software termination. Data is securely stored on an internal 512 GB SSD, and the software automatically synchronizes and restores data seamlessly upon reconnection.
Multi-User Collaboration
Multiple researchers within the lab can access the same RackMount 16CH simultaneously via a Local Area Network (LAN) from different workstations. Users can flexibly “claim” specific channels or channel groups via a web browser or the control software, ensuring dedicated access and preventing interference during collaborative work.

Advanced Measurement Modes & Automation
Polypotentiostat Mode (Multi-Working Electrode Synchronization)
Through hardware-level Channel Synchronization and specific cabling configurations, this instrument functions as a versatile polypotentiostat. This allows for the simultaneous use of multiple working electrodes within a single electrochemical cell. By sharing a common reference electrode and counter electrode, users can conduct highly coordinated, perfectly synchronized electrochemical measurements across multiple sensors.
Automatic Droplet Detection
Tailored specifically for microfluidic chips, screen-printed electrodes (SPEs), and biological or chemical sensing applications, the system features an intelligent Automatic Droplet Detection function. The software can be configured to “trigger” and instantly initiate measurement the moment a droplet is detected on the electrode surface. This minimizes the time delay between sample deposition and data acquisition, ensuring the precise capture of rapid transient responses and initial kinetics.

Unlimited Expansion via Hardware Stacking
The rear panel of the instrument features a dedicated Sync Link port. Using the included synchronization cable, multiple RackMount 16CH units can be daisy-chained together, with one designated as the “Master” unit. This hardware-level synchronization allows for seamless scaling of parallel measurement capabilities from 16 to dozens—or even hundreds—of channels, perfectly accommodating large-scale parallel screening and high-throughput research requirements.
